Les Line

American, (1935–2010)

Les Line was an American artist who was born in Sparta, Michigan in 1935. He first started writing sports stories and taking photographs at the age of twelve and started his career as an editor for the Audubon magazine. He was also a chief photographer and conservation editor for the Midland (Michigan) Daily News. Line was inducted as a Fellow of the Rhode Island School of Design and was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Literature in 1981.
